Queens Quay’s innovative energy system becomes operational
Queens Quay’s £15m energy system based on water-sourced district heating has now become operational and is ready to heat up the area of the former John Brown shipyard in Clydebank. The new energy system will cut West Dunbartonshire’s CO2 emissions with more than 4,000 tonnes each year for the next 40 years and will make Clydebank one of the greenest towns in Scotland.
